First Airplane Passenger Death 1908
Orville Wright's aeroplane which was in the air for four minutes carrying passenger Lieutenant Thomas Etholen Selfridge in Fort Myer, Arlington, Virginia. Came crashing down badly injuring Selfridge, sadly he died within a few hours
