Fortnum & Mason's advertisement, WW1

Advertisement for quintessential British department store, Fortnum and Mason and its service for sending boxes of food to the front during the First World War. The July box contained such delicacies as Royans a la Bordelaise, Camp Pie, Potted Turkey and Tongue, Apricots in Syrup and Gooseberry Pudding. The advert states that thousands had already been sent to officers and men of the British forces and prices were given for sending the box to France and to the Mediterranean
