Fragments of Zeppelin, 1916

Three fragments obtained from a recently-destroyed Zeppelin. No 1. outer covering of Zeppelin (a doped fabric, i.e. a woven material treated with waterproofing solution). No 2. Inner lining of Zeppelin (finely woven and quite soft, probably some material as above but undoped). No 3. Fragment of Zeppelin gas bag (from one of the hydrogen gas bags. It is a piece of goldbeater's skin and appears incredibly thin and fragile)
