The funeral of Dr. David Livingstone (1813 - 1873), the Scottish missionary and explorer, which was held in Westminster Abbey, April 1874. The discoverer of Victoria Falls, Livingstone's extensive explorations of Central Africa were chiefly driven by the strength of his missionary ideals. He died in Zambia in 1873, while searching for the source of the Nile
