People at the back of the crowds lining the route of the funeral procession of King George V using a variety of periscopes and mirrors to be able to see as the cortege passed by the Duke of York's steps and proceeded up the Mall. See picture number 13784571 for a similar scene shown for the funeral of King Edward VII in 1910
