The Gay Cavalier
Riding along the muddy trail through tropical rainforest on the borders of the Lacondon country. It was necessary to carry a machete in order to cut down the undergrowth which in places barred the way. Photograph to accompany an article by the explorer Bernard de Colmont about his travels in the Country of the Lacondon on the borderlands of Mexico and Guatemala
