George, Prince of Wales in India at Amritsar, 1906
The Prince and Princess of Wales (later King George V and Queen Mary), on their tour of India, viewing the Golden Temple at Amritsar, which stands in the Pool of Immortality. The Prince and Princess viewed the Temple from a platform at the side of the Pool. There they were greeted with blessings from Akali devotees
