George V funeral - the gun-carriage
Gun-carriage pulled by the Naval Gun's crew, bearing the coffin of the late King George V, as it passed through London on its way from Westminster Hall to Paddington station. The Imperial Crown, the Orb and Sceptre can be seen lying on a purple velvet cushion on top of the coffin which was covered in the Royal Standard. There was a single floral tribute of carnations from Queen Mary. The coffin was flanked by the equerries of the late king
