George VI Coronation filmed
The historic ceremony of the Coronation of King George VI and his consort, Queen Elizabeth filmed for the first time. Many difficulties had to be overcome including special lighting arrangements. Illustration shows the powerful floodlights mounted in inconspicuous positions round the Triforium and in the roof above the Theatre
