George Watts at work on his Physical Energy statue 1896
George Watts a British painter and sculptor working on a monumental equestrian sculpture, the Physical Energy commissioned for the Duke of Westminster. Watts began to work on the statue in early 1883 and continued until his death in 1904. In 1907 the statue was erected in Kensington Gardens, London
