Givenchy outfit, 1960
A Givenchy coat (on the left) of heavy white wool with a small collar, huge buttons, a horizontal yoke line running parallel to the pockets nad a nine-tenths hemline. Note too the rounded shoulderline, the short chopped off sleeves, and the barely indicated waistline. The matching white jersey dress just covers the kneecap and the belt is of snuff coloured suede
