Great Atlantic Airship Flight R 100 Home From Canada 1930
The great British R 100 arrived at Cardington after return flight from Montreal, in 78 hours. The damaged fin in a thunderstorm over the St. Lawrence, left Montreal on her return flight early on August 14th and reached Cardington, Bedfordshire on the morning of the 16th. Designed to carry 100 passengers and 37 crew on regularly scheduled mail and passenger flights to Canada, Egypt and India
