The villa was built to her specifications by renowned Riviera architect Barry Dierks and including a water chute from the swimming pool out to the open sea. Guests here include Lady Castlerosse, the Hon Mrs Beck, Lord Portarlington, Princess Jean de Faucigny-Lucinge, Lady Mendl, Mrs Hays Morgan, the duke of Sutherland and Mr James Beck
