Hancock's Aquatic Dress - a basin-type device for walking across deep rivers. The rather opn design rathers opens the possibility for flooding, but Mr Hancock's business flourished in the early 1820s and he was a perfectly repectable merchant selling pneumatic beds and waterproof clothes
