Harold Larwood (1904 - 1995), English bowler, , in action during the MCC tour of Australia, 1933. During that tour, D.R. Jardine, the MCC Captain, used the pace of Larwood to employ leg theory (also known as bodyline bowling). Although successful on the cricket field, the tactic was deemed unsportsmanlike by many Australians and soured Anglo-Australian relations
