High explosive shells ready for the final process at Creusot
After having passed through all the series of foundry operations at Creusot, from the initial stage, when as a rough ingot of steel, the metal is received at the factory, to the last of the machine workshop stages, after which the matal-wokers part company. The projectiles are then ready for transfer to the next department, where the interior of the shell is prepared for the reception of the explosive charge
