Hildred, a mannequin for Lucile
One of Lucile's famous models. Lady Lucy Duff Gordon (aka Lucile) was famous for employing a band of mannequins at her salon and for introducing the mannequin parade for her customers, a forerunner of the modern day catwalk fashion show. Hildred went on to join the Ziegfeld Follies. She is pictured here wearing a Lucile evening gown
