HMS Duke of York, 1943
The Royal Navy battleship HMS Duke of York firing a salvo from her after turret in 1943. The Duke of York, launched in 1940, served throughout the remainder of the Second World War, taking part in the sinking of the German battlecruiser Scharnhorst at the Battle of North Cape, 1943. She was scrapped at Faslane, Scotland, in February 1958
