Industrial schools and working men's free schoolroom church at Scotland Road, Kirkdale, Liverpool. The building was intended for use not only as an industrial ragged school where children of the very poorest would receive elementary instruction, but also as a place where boys could be taught the rudiments of useful occupations for later in life
