Jingo the Elephant Travelling to America 1903
The departure of the large African male elephant at Zoological Society's Gardens (London Zoo). Jingo Wax used to carry children around Regent's Park Park, but the two year old was too aggressive and dangerous so he was sold to Frank Bostock for an America exhibition. While being shipped to the USA the elephant died and was dumped overboard
