Lady Desborough & Billy Grenfell - costume masque
Ettie, Lady Desborough, pictured in costume at a masque she and Lord Desborough held at their home, Taplow Court in January 1912. Pictured with her is her second son Gerald Grenfell, known as Billy who is dressed as a Roman centurion. Billy was killed in action on 30 July 1915 shortly after his elder brother Julian had also died of wounds
