Lady Dorothy Nevill, formerly Lady Dorothy Walpole (1826-1913), social leader, writer and gardener painted by Richard Buckner in 1845. The younger daughter of the 3rd Earl of Orford, she married Mr Richard Nevill, son of the 1st Earl of Abergavenny in 1847. A brilliant conversationlist, she wrote her Reminiscences in later life
