Lance-Sergeant John Baskeyfield of the South Staffordshire Regiment, First Airborne Division, pictured c.1943. Baskeyfield won the Victoria Cross posthumously in 1944 for his actions in charge of two six-pound guns at Oosterbeek, near Arnhem, during Operation Market Garden, September 1944
