Lantern of Beachy Head Lighthouse, Sussex 1884
Lantern at Beachy Head lighthouse, Sussex. The lighthouse was built between 1828 and 1831 on Belle Tout Cliff and equipped with a catoptric lantern, which ran on colza oil. Here the lighthouse keeper can be seen cleaning some of the lantern reflectors
