Miss Laurette Taylor (1883 - 1946), American actress born Loretta Helen Clooney, pictured appearing in various scenes in the play, "Out There, " written by her second husband John Hartley Manners, who had also penned, Peg O My Heart, the enormously successful play in which Taylor had starred in London. "Out There, " told the story of the war and the noble part women have played in it. Consequently, she is pictured as a nurse and taking on various cleaning jobs. The show ran at the Frolic Theatre, New York in 1917
