On leave in Paris, dance at the British Army & Navy Club
Our men on leave in Paris: a dance at the British Army and Navy Leave Club, 1918. The British Army and Navy Leave Club in Paris is a great boon to thousands of British soldiers at the Front who spend leave in Paris, including many overseas men from Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. It is situated in the Hotel Moderne on the Place de la Republique. There are almost daily entertainments such as concerts, dances and whist drives, making it the social centre for British soldiers and sailors
