Sir Archibald Murray (1860 - 1945), British Army officer who served in the Second Boer War and the First World War. Successor of Sir Charles Monro, commander of the forces at Gallipoli. Sir Archibald led the first successful attack against the Turkish forces at Gaza in 1915
