Some life-saving suggestions in The Sphere, in the aftermath of the Titanic disaster. How two buoyant seats could be made to float as a boat. Buoyant table which would support a couple of people. Buoyant hatch-cover which would support several people. The Sphere laments the very great amount of wood which enters into the construction of a steamship but which is unavailable as floating material in case of a sudden wreck
