The London Crystal Palace bazaar, 1858

The London Crystal Palace bazaar at Regent Circus, Oxford Street, intended to sell goods of the most elegant description. The building is constructed substantially of iron and glass, and modelled somewhat after its Sydenham prototype (i.e. the original Crystal Palace). The material of the inner roof, forming the framing to the coloured lights, is composed of plaster castings by M. Desachy of Great Marlborough Street
