London Scottish role call after the charge at Messine
The London Scottish role call after the charge at Messine, near Ypres, on 31st October 1914, Sir John French sent them a telegraphed to their Commander, thanking them for the work they did. The event was of historic importance as the first occasion when Territorial were in action in WWI. ~~~~
