Lucia-Bride Silver-Gilt Table-Centre 1945
A large silver-gilt table-centre, decorated with precious stones, of the Lucia-bride; the central figure in the Swedish celebrations of the festival of St. Lucia. This ornament had been made by the Berlin Technical Academy for Hermann Goering and was found in his hoard by Allied soldiers at the end of the Second World War
