The March of the Blind Men from Manchester. The march, which began in Newport, Leeds and Manchester and assembled in Trafalgar Square, London on 25th April 1920 (where Herbert Morrison and trade union leaders spoke to a crowd of 10, 000), was organised by the National League of the Blind (NLB) to protest poor working conditions and poverty experienced by blind people
