Edith Helen Vane-Tempest-Stewart, Marchioness of Londonderry (1878 - 1959), noted gardener and a writer and editor, between World War I and World War II she was a noted influential society hostess and director of the Women's Legion (originally the WVR - Women's Volunteer Reserve)
