Master Kenneth Martin Ward
Master Kenneth Martin Ward, son of Professor J. Ward, Professor of Mental Philosophy at Cambridge. He climbed the spire at Oundle Church and tied a handkerchief to the weather-vane, for which he was sent down from Oundle School. The Sketch reports, "He is a very clever boy, and has won a science scholarship at Emmanuel College, Cambridge."
