Miss Iris Tree by her husband, Curtis Moffatt
Iris Tree (27 January 1897 - 13 April 1968) English poet, actress and artists model, described as a bohemian, an eccentric, a wit and an adventuress. Daughter of Herbert Tree and sister to Viola and Felicity. Married the American artist and photographer Curtis Moffatt who too this portrait of her for an exhibition at the Bond Street Galleries in June 1925. Her famous pageboy bobbed hair cut is shown off to great effect in this photograph
