Miss Iris Tree (Mrs Curtis Moffatt) wiht her son, 1920

Iris Tree (27 January 1897 - 13 April 1968) was an English poet, actress and artists model, described as a bohemian, an eccentric, a wit and an adventuress. Pictured in a spread of pictures for The Tatler with her son Ivan. The Tatler incorrectly calls him Anthony, whereas Anthony was actually the name of the eldest son of Iris's sister Felicity. Iris was the youngest daughter of the actor, Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree and sister to Viola and Felicity. Among many things she was famous for her bobbed pageboy haircut, which can be plainly seen in these photographs
