Miss Katharine Worsley (Duchess of Kent) by Stephen Ward
Miss Katharine Lucy Mary Worsley, the present Duchess of Kent (born 1933), shortly before her marriage to the Duke of Kent at York Minster on 8 June 1961. The portrait was taken from life at Kensington Palace by Stephen Ward the society osteopath and artist. Ward sketched several high profile figures for the Illustrated London News in 1961, but two years later he would become notorious through his involvement in the Profumo Affair
