Miss Sylvia Storey, Countess Poulett
Countess Poulett, formerly stage star Miss Sylvia Storey, photographed after the announcement of her engagement to Major Percy Hansen. Storey was formerly married to the seventh Earl Poulett in 1908 with whom she had two children, although he died in 1918 of Spanish influenza. The marriage between Countess Poulett and Major Hansen never took place, possibly because the financial benefits she recieved on account of her first husband's will depended on her being unmarried
