Mitchells and Butlers Brewery
The beer is transferred to racking-backs, large rectangular-shaped vessels, each with a capacity of 250 barrels and copper-lined. They serve as a means of transferring the beer to the casks ready for dispatch, free of any sediment from the fermenting vats
