Mlle. Loger, first girl to enter world-famous Gobelin works
Mlle. Loger, a seventeen year-old French girl seen at her loom in the Gobelins tapestry works in Paris. During the company's four centuries, it had not, until that point, ever employed a female worker but Mlle. Loger won her position as the best designer among a number of boy and girl competitors. The Sphere explains she will be a student worker for two year, and an apprentice for ten more years
