Mrs Armstrong Jones engaged to the Earl of Rosse
Mrs. Armstrong-Jones, photographed in costume (possibly designed by her brother, Oliver Messel) and featured in The Sketch at the time of her engagement to the Earl of Rosse. Anne Messel (later Parsons) was previously married to Ronald Armstrong-Jones, with whom she had a daughter and a son, before she married Michael Parsons, 6th Earl of Rosse on 19 September 1935. The couple had two sons. Her eldest son Antony Armstrong-Jones, Earl of Snowdon (from her previous marriage with Ronald Armstrong-Jones) married Princess Margaret
