Mrs Wardell, twice widowed during WW1

Mrs Michael Wardell, whose marriage to Lieutenant Michael Wardell took place on 30 April 1918. She was the daughter of the late Sir Daniel Cooper of New South Wales. She first married in 1912 the late Lord Northland, heir to Lord Ranfurly who was killed in action. She then married a second time Commander, the Hon. Geoffrey Mills who was also killed in action in 1917
