The Mystery of the death of Judge Albert Prince: a crime due to the Stavisky Affair? On 21st February 1934, the mutilated body of Albert Prince, a Judge of the Paris Court of Appeal, was found on the railway line near Dijon. From June 1925 until October 1931, Prince was at the head of the financial section of the Public Prosecutor's Office, and therefore might have been able to throw considerable light on certain aspects of the Stavisky Affair. For that reason it was at once assumed that he had been murdered
