Nancy Tennant (1904 - 1969), playing golf at North Berwick. Later Nancy Dugdale (nee Tennant), Lady Crathorne, former wife of Sylvester Gates, and later wife of 1st Baron Crathorne; daughter of Sir Charles Tennant. As a result of her marriage to Thomas Dugdale, Nancy Tennant was styled as Baroness Crathorne on 15 July 1959. She was invested as an Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1961
