A new night-sport - greyhound racing in Manchester

Greyhound racing making its debut in the UK at Belle Vue, Manchester. Although greyhound coursing was known in Britain, the introduction of racing with dogs chasing a mechanical hare triggered a craze for the sport, with venues quickly being built in London and other cities around the country.
