Nicholas II of Russia (1868 - 1918), last tsar of Russia, ruling from 1 November 1894 until his forced abdication on 15 March 1917. (top left) Alexei Nikolaevich, Tsarevich of Russia (1904 - 1918) only son, (bottom left) two eldest daughters The Grand Duchesses Olga Nikolaevna (1895 - 1918) and Tatiana Nikolaevna (1897 - 1918) and The Grand Duchesses Maria Nikolaevna (1899 - 1918) and Anastasia Nikolaevna (1901 - 1918). All executed by Bolsheviks on the 17 July 1918
