The Tourelles water stadium in Paris, built at a cost of ten million francs for the 1924 Olympic Games. Top photograph shows a view of it - possibly the finest swimming bath yet constructed - and bottom image depicts the American ladies swimming team, including the famous Helen Wainwright (also a diving Olympic medallist) seen in the middle
