A javelin thrower at the 1906 Olympic Games in Athens. The fourth modern Olympic games, these games were held in Athens and staged as a celebration of the tenth anniversary of the resumption of the Games. This Olympic Games were not official, but very important for the Olympic movement after the failure of the 1900 and 1904 Olympics
