Ornamentation of the new Vauxhall Bridge
Vauxhall Bridge that opened in 1906, replacing one built between 1809 and 1816. Alfred Drury, George Frampton and Frederick Pomeroy were appointed to design appropriate statues on each of the recesses. Photograph showing a pulley is placing the colossal bronze figure weighing 35 to 43 cwt each
