Oscar Kreuzer, German tennis player
Oscar Kreuzer (1887-1968), German tennis and rugby player. Had taken part in the Davis Cup in 1914 shortly before the outbreak of war. On their way back to Germany, the Italian steamboat America on which he was travelling was halted off Gibraltar by a British warship and he was placed in a prison in Gibraltar for several months before being sent to detention camps in England. Kreuzer stayed at a camp near Leeds
